1. What we collect

When you create an account we store the email address and display name you provide, plus a password hash if you sign in with credentials or your provider profile photo URL if you sign in with Google. When you post a thread, comment, image, or correction we record what you submitted along with a server-generated timestamp.

We do not run third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or fingerprinting scripts on this site.

2. Cookies

We use a single first-party session cookie issued by our authentication system to keep you signed in. It is HTTP-only and marked Secure in production. There are no advertising or cross-site-tracking cookies.

3. How we use your data

Account data is used solely to authenticate you and to attribute the content you contribute. Submitted content (threads, comments, images, suggested corrections) is shown publicly with your display name. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

4. Data you can request

You can request a copy of your account data, ask us to delete your account, or correct any information at any time by emailing the contact address below. We aim to respond within 30 days.

5. Children

The service is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

6. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
